Welcome to FCS talking therapies. We are a professional and confidential service for individuals and couples seeking help and support with personal, emotional or relationship problems. Our counsellors are fully trained to listen and help you explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental way.

Getting an Appointment
Speak with your GP or health professional and ask for a referral to FCS Talking Therapies. Alternatively, you may contact us directly and refer yourself. Our team are ready to respond to your needs, when you need it.
We offer both free NHS IAPT therapy and private therapy, which aids us in our charity work. Please see our NHS Therapy and Private Therapy pages for further information on the types of treatment you may be interested in.

Phone lines are open between 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Please note that on some occasions our phone line can become very busy and/or if you call outside of the office opening times the call will go to an answer machine system. Please leave a message with your name and best contact number. We aim to respond to all answer machine messages within 24 hours on week days - please be aware that messages are not picked up over weekends.
Counselling hours vary between 8am and 8pm (by appointment only).
