Service User Involvement in FCS
Do you have recent experience of using Faversham Counselling Services or FCS Talking Therapies as a service user?
Are you interested in working alongside us to improve our services? If your answer is ‘yes’ we would love you to become a service user representative.
At Faversham Counselling Service we believe that people who use our services have a key role in helping us improve the services we currently provide and help us to look at potential future services.
As a service user representative you could be involved in the following ways:
Setting out the parameters of the group
Supporting service development
Monitoring the quality of the service
Serving on working groups
Supporting and ensuring that the literature available is accessible
Feeding your work into the Board of Trustees
If you are interested in applying or would like more information please contact either Amy or Nicole on: 01795 515326 or 01795 515323. Or you can email them on email@example.com.
Kent Mental Health Commissioners NHS Talking Therapy Survey
The Kent Mental Health Commissioners are reviewing the NHS Talking Therapy service (known as IAPT). This review will look at what is working well and not so well and how we can develop services for the future.
We would like to hear from people who have used the service / have tried to access the service but where unsuccessful etc.
Some areas in Kent are also using the results of this survey as the start of a process of engaging with the public to develop new NHS Talking Therapy Services, this is happening in East Kent (Ashford, Canterbury South Kent Coast and Thanet) and North Kent (Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley, Swale and Medway).
If anyone wants to be further involved in the development of these services there will be an opportunity at the end of the survey to leave contact details, so the CCG's can get in touch about further engagement in the future.
You can access the survey here:
This survey is running until midnight 30 November 2018.
